Kevin F. Story has appeared on and off stage for several years
now. Favourite credits include Marley in A Christmas Carol, Archibald in The Secret Garden, Prof. Bhaer in Little Women, Bottom in A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Tito
in Lend Me a Tenor. As music
director, he has worked in such houses as Theatre Three, Airport
Playhouse, and the Smithtown Center for the Performing Arts. He served
as the Five Towns College Theatre's master electrician for two years,
and in that span designed several shows including Seussical and Violet. With his own company
Work in Progress Productions (formerly Lytehouse Entertainment), he has produced and directed a number of shows
and concerts, including Moon Over
Buffalo, Don't Drink the Water,
and All in the Timing. He has
written original music, plays, poems, and prose, including the original
score for a short film called Looney
in a Straight Jacket and music for Theatre Three's Little Bo-Peep and the Great Lost Sheep Caper. Presently, he is a company member at Theatre Three and the director of music at Middle Island Presbyterian Church. He holds a BFA in
Theatre Arts from Five Towns College and received the Award for
Musical Theatre upon graduation. |
